Would seek out someplace else when in the area again.

Cons: bathrooms stinky and in need of much tlc. Super expensive for what you get. If it was $15 I would feel it was worth it. But not there $36 it was, and that was with CAA discount.

Not a super nice park but it provides the basics and had a better WiFi than almost any other campground where I have stayed. There is only one convenience store withing a reasonable drive so if you didn't bring your own food you will have to eat there or at the little restaurant in the campground which I didn't try.

The guy checked us in was helpful and nice. Unfortunately, the facilities need work. The pool was empty so the kids were bummed. Only one female shower worked and one or two of the laundry machines.

Pros: close to Badlands National Park and right at the interstate so convenient for road trip overnight. Easy enough check in when nobody present.

I'm an RVer pretty much self contained with no kids to entertain. As a place to park, hook up to 50 amp service and have convenience to the interstate, it is good. If you are bringing the family here in an RV or to tent camp, and need a pool and playground, this campground is not geared toward that clientele. The observations that the facilities are run down and have not seen any new investment are accurate. Most of the traffic here has been 1 night stopover, but for the 3 days we've been here there have been at least 3 or 4 other RVs here for several nights, and the tent campers have certainly stayed so the facilities can't be that bad. This place could be a gold mine if someone had $250K to put into the property.

The most positive aspects of the campground site is the generous size and it is close to Badlands National Park. Other than that, we had an impression of a run down facility. Our reservation was lost, but they had lots of room, so it didn't really matter. Their office is open from 10 to 4.
